Msgr. O'Keefe Council #8250 was founded 7 November 1982 through the efforts of West Point Cadets & Officers.
Our council is named after Msgr. Cornelius George O'Keefe. He was a priest in the Archdiocese of New York and pastor of Most Holy Trinity Parish. During his time as Pastor the current Catholic Chapel was built in 1900. Msgr. O'Keefe died on 23 May 1918, and is buried in the West Point Cemetery.
The West Point Knights Council works closely with the
Catholic Chapel of the Most Holy Trinity Parish at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY,
providing
manpower for various projects and the members are active participants in their
parish.
